What makes an Experience Unique ?

Hey You,
Welcome. Thanks for visiting my blog.I have finally decided to take certain thoughts and emotions out of my mind and allow them to roam naked here without any social inhibitions. There is an important question I am often getting these days. What makes an Experience unique ?.I firmly believe that our worldview is shaped by our Thoughts,Actions,Expectations and finally Experiences. We all want to believe that we are existentially unique. In other words, our vantage point makes our worldview unique. In any given environment,no one experiences a experience the way we do and that is what makes our happiness and griefs unique and we want them to belong only to us.But more often than not,the way we experience an experience is tinted by the expectation we have in due course of the process.I am sure you have had events which you've thought to be a life breaker at that point of time.Break-up's,bereavement or even something simple as a realization can be so painful and confusing that we will never ever be able to share what we actually went through to anyone else.At that point in time,we always think life would impossibly begin to slowly stagger and come to a stop suddenly. How would I ever climb out of what I have gotten into or how was I so unaware that it brought me here ?..would be one of the thousand questions we seek answers for.No one tells us directly how to give closure to an experience but inevitably all experiences we seek to prolong for our happiness or grief has to come to an end.It so happens even without we noticing it.Nostalgia is the sudden longing we feel for joyful experiences we all have from the past.I sometimes think as we age,we are all moving towards a stage where we actively seek only pleasure bringing experiences. We get the reassurance from our past and believe things would still remain the same even this time around. But sadly,we are all not equipped to repeat any experience in its entirety once the moment passes by.Yes,there may be bits and crumbs of what we make of the experience but recreating it is next to impossible.Maybe that is why, people follow the same pattern every time even when it is blindingly obvious that the chances of having a similar experience this time around is minimal. They say the stories & lies we tell to ourselves are the most powerful. How many second chances are you willing to give to create a perfect first experience ?
